Nancy Armstrong

born in New Orleans, LA, comes from a family of musicians and singers. An accomplished vocalist and pianist, Nancy received formal musical training from Southern University & A&M College, completing her Bachelor of Music in Education. She is known as one of the most prominent vocal and piano instructors in the Baton Rouge, New Orleans and surrounding areas. She is CEO/Private Instructor for Beautiful Music Productions, where she specializes in Private Vocal & Piano Instruction, Vocal Clinics and Workshops, and Artist Development. She has taught choral and Instrumental music in the public and private school sector, but found a passion for vocally coaching youth and teens. She has worked with singers and artists of all kinds of genres, such as; City at Peace, Trill Entertainment, and many social and church organizations. Her voice can be heard daily over the airwaves of Baton Rouge’s Inspiration Station, Heaven 95.7FM / 1460AM WXOK, and on KQXL Q106.5 FM bringing Inspiration every Sunday morning.

Nancy has ministered before many gospel greats on numerous occasions, and has been a featured vocalist at events such as the Chicago Gospel Festival, New Orleans Rejoicing In The Park, as well as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and her most memorable event; the NOSA-CONN Music Festival in South Africa in 2004, hosted by world renowned actor/activist Danny Glover. She has ministered before thousands, LIVE on “The Word Network” during the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, and in June 2005 released her first solo project entitled, Just Wait. She has performed the ‘National Anthem’ for the New Orleans Hornets / Pelicans’ games, the 2016 State of Louisiana Gubernatorial Inauguration, and she has also been a featured artist with Maestro Timothy Muffit, and the Baton Rouge Symphony, presenting the debut of The Louisiana Tradition.

Nancy’s musical gift has taken her beyond the gospel stage, to other musical platforms. She has written for, contributed music to, and has been a featured guest artist/actress in stage plays such as; ‘Between Floors’ written and directed by Ed Barnes, ‘Did Love Cause Me To Hurt’ written and directed by Tony Gullage, the hit novel and screenplay, ‘All

The Women I’ve Loved’ written by Byron Harmon and a contributing songwriter for UCFM’S Ablaze Youth Ministry album, ‘Hero’.

She has been a featured vocalist on recordings by Stellar & Grammy nominated, Minister Timothy Britten & Shabach Praise Company on two projects, The Gloryland Baptist Church Recording Choir “LIVE” recording ‘Glory In The House’, singing an anointed arrangement of ‘Someone Who Cares’, and Joel Jones & 3MC’s Live Recording, ‘Pleasing’, and also many original gospel recordings with hymnologist/songwriter, V. Michael Mckay. She was also guest psalmist for the ‘LIVE’ recording ‘Unto Him With Psalms’, featuring her mentor & spiritual Father in ministry, Apostle Terry Gullage, Sr. & The Greater Mt. Calvary Church. She is currently the Minister of Music for the United Christian Faith Ministries of Baton Rouge, LA under the anointed pastoral leadership of Dr. Mark A. Ellis, Sr.

Nancy is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity, Inc. This singer/songwriter/pianist continues to minister throughout Louisiana, across the US, and internationally, the gospel of Jesus Christ through song with conviction, and the anointing of the Holy Ghost. She is mother to 2 daughters; NiAria and Alana; has reared 4 sons; Antonio, Darian, Jarion and James Jr., and is enjoying being grandmother to 2 beautiful girls; Joelle and Arionn.
